Stryker Releases the Ortho Q Guidance System

Stryker has launched its Ortho Q Guidance system, an autonomous system that the surgeon controls from the sterile field. It combines new optical tracking options via a redesigned camera with new Ortho Guidance algorithms for further surgical planning and guidance capabilities.
 
When used with Ortho Q, the Ortho Guidance software for Express Knee, Precision Knee, and Versatile Hip provides a planning and intraoperative guidance system to boost procedural speed and efficiency.
 

“Ortho Q was designed specifically for our orthopedic customers and is the culmination of a multiyear collaboration between teams in India, Germany and the United States. This platform builds a foundation for the future of orthopedic surgical capability,” Bill Scott, VP and GM of Stryker’s Orthopaedic Instruments business told the press.
 
Ortho Q features a robotics-ready platform with dial PCs and a quick-refresh camera. Implant-agnostic software lets surgeons use their favored implants. It contains Triathlon implant dedicated software for further clinical feedback, and a small footprint makes Ortho Q ideal for both the OR and ASC settings.
